Week 2: Top 5 College Football Games To Watch
Top 5 Games To Watch
After a wild first week of college football, here's a look into the five most exciting games that week two has to offer. By: Matthew Micali
#5: Texas A&M vs. Sam Houston State
Everyone knows that A&M will take care of Sam Houston State, but everyone also knows that Manziel is the biggest star college football has seen in a long time. Watch this game from start to finish and you'll see great football plays and typical Johnny Football antics.
#4: Oklahoma vs. West Virginia
Oklahoma cruised in their opening game against Louisiana-Monroe and West Virginia almost fell to William and Mary, but the Mountaineers fought back and held the Tribe scoreless in the second half. If WVU shakes off the rust, this can be one of the most exciting games of the week.
#3: Florida vs. Miami
Florida rushed for 262 yards in their Week 1 game against Toledo. Miami rushed for 303 yards against Florida Atlantic. The key to this game will be to keep the opponent's run game in check. The team that can do that will most likely end up victorious.
#2: Notre Dame vs. Michigan
Notre Dame QB Tommy Rees threw for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns against Temple, while Michigan ran all over Central Michigan for 242 yards. This early season test can show us if these teams have the potential to make the BCS.
#1: South Carolina vs. Georgia
South Carolina came out strong against North Carolina last week, even though star player Jadeveon Clowney was suffering from sickness. Gamecock nation anticipates a monster game from the defensive lineman against Aaron Murray and the Georgia Bulldogs who were narrowly defeated by Clemson a week ago.
