The NBA has carved out a major presence on Christmas Day, and the 2017-18 NBA season will be no different when Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 rolls around.
On Thursday night, the leagues officially announced it's Christmas Day schedule, featuring five highly anticipated matchups with storylines a plenty.
The day gets started with the 76ers young trio of stars — Markelle Fultz, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid — heading to the Big Apple to take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
The second game, arguably the most anticipated game fo the day, is a showdown between Cavaliers and Warriors, the two teams that have faced off in three consecutive NBA Finals
The Wizards are once again part of the Christmas festivities, and will travel to Boston to take on the Celtics in a rematch of the heated, seven-game Eastern Conference Playoff series.
The Christmas Day schedule then shfits out west to a showdown between James harden and Russell Westbrook with the Rockets taking on the Thunder, followed by the Karl Anthony Towns and young Timberwolves heading to Hollywood to take on Lonzo Ball and the young Lakers.
