Redskins' Ricky-Jean Francois critical of lack of adjustments in recent losses

Redskins' Ricky-Jean Francois critical of lack of adjustments in recent losses

The Redskins struggled to make the proper adjustments on Sunday, eventually falling to the rival Dallas Cowboys 27-23.

Now 0-2, with both losses coming at home, the players are starting to wonder what went wrong.

Defensive end Ricky-Jean Francois was one of these players.

One of his biggest issues he sees is not making adjustments. But to the 29-year-old former LSU player, it's not a two-game thing. It dates back to last season.

"Even from the Packers (game) last year, every team that sees us adjusts," he told reporters after the game. "Every team that adjusts to us, we don't adjust to them."

Similar criticism was levied against the team last week after Josh Norman was not switched onto Steelers' wide receiver Antonio Brown, who beat cornerback Bashaud Breeland for two big touchdowns.

But the season is still young, and there is more than enough time for Jay Gruden and company to adjust.

Jimmy Fallon pokes fun at Redskins players with Tonight Show Superlatives

One of the best parts of football season being back is The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon's NFL Superlatives.

When there is a primetime game on NBC, Fallon takes a look at those two teams' rosters and pokes some fun at particular players.

This week's matchup? Raiders vs. Redskins. Fallon, per usual, did not disappoint.

OT Ty Nsekhe, DE Matt Loannidis, QB Colt McCoy, OL Tyler Catalina and OT Morgan Moses are handed superlatives for the Redskins.

On the Raiders, QB Derek Carr and OT Donald Penn receive shoutouts.

It's going to be a tough matchup for the Redskins, but for now just enjoy a good laugh.
