Jerry Blevins

VIERA, Fla. — Jerry Blevins spent the seventh inning of Monday’s game in Jupiter sitting in the Nationals bullpen, confused why he hadn’t been called upon yet to pitch against the Cardinals.

One day after getting shipped from the Nationals to the Mets in a surprise trade, Jerry Blevins was suited up with his new team ready to take on his old team.

There is just over a week until Opening Day rosters are finalized, but the Nationals may not be done making moves.

Jerry Blevins won his arbitration case against the Nationals, awarded a $2.4 million salary for this season, according to a source familiar with the decision.
