The Nationals were swept by the New York Yankees on Fathers Day Weekend despite a quality start by their starting pitcher each game and an overall ERA of 3.50 from their rotation.
Game in a nutshell: The Nationals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on Jesus Flores' broken-bat double off the left-field wall (yes, he broke his bat and still reached the wall on a fly).
The notion was first offered about two weeks ago, and it's since picked up considerable steam.
He's the forgotten man of the best rotation in baseball, even though he's the highest-paid member of the group and has enjoyed the most success in the big leagues.
