When you hear the phrase "team of rivals" in Washington, you might not think of football. But with DeSean Jackson joining the Redskins this offseason, you probably should. Years as Philadelphia's star wide receiver made Jackson a natural enemy of Washington's top corner, DeAngelo Hall. Both players have fiery personalities that fueled an already exciting competition. Jackson and Hall even got chippy with one another on Monday Night Football last September.

DeAngelo Hall actively recruited Jackson following his release by the Eagles and voiced support for the receiver when others in the league questioned his character, putting to rest any ideas of bad blood between the two. Redskins fans ready to mourn the loss of a scrappy rivalry shouldn't get ahead of themselves; if this post on DeSean Jackson's Instagram is any indication, the former adversaries are still going at it.

"Competing At a High Level Everyday Makes u Great !! Settle 4 Nothin less !! #0ne0fone #skins"

Though the photo was posted today, Jackson gave no hint of when it was taken or whether his ailing hamstring has improved enough for him to return to the field. What we can say for sure, though, is that DeSean Jackson's arrival in Washington has turned this fierce rivalry into a healthy competition.
