After a very eventful first round of the NFL Draft Thursday night, the Redskins sit in a strong position at pick No. 34, with many top prospects still available. So what move will Bruce Allen and Washington make when their turn comes? Let's dive in.

It's widely believed Houston will take quarterback Derek Carr at No. 33, a position Allen would likely not consider drafting. That means all available talent should be open for Washington, and there are plenty of options.

If the Skins decide to add to the offensive line, an area of need - particularly at right tackle - four impressive options could be had: Alabama's Cyrus Kouandjio, Nevada's Joel Bitonio, Virginia's Morgan Moses, or UCLA's Xavier Su'a-Filo. Depending what you read and believe, each of the four linemen ranked as first-round talent on various draft boards. Drafting Kouandjio would be a homecoming, the 6'7", 322 lbs. tackle played his high school football at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville. One more name, Jack Mewhort out of Ohio State.

While the Redskins offensive line could certainly use a boost, defense is what ruined the Skins 2013 season. The Redskins can use new young talent at every position on the defensive depth chart, and considering some of the players that slid into the early second, Allen must look at the inventory.

Notre Dame's Louis Nix looks like the perfect NFL nose tackle for teams that run a 3-4 defense, which the Redskins deploy. Like Kouandjio, Nix likely fell to the second round because of injury concerns. Other defenders the Skins must consider include DT Timmy Jernigan of Florida State, DE DeMarcus Lawrence from Boise State and another DE, Kony Ealy out of Missouri. Other names to consider on defense, Stephon Tuitt of Notre Dame and Ra'Shede Hageman of Minnesota.

That's a lot of talent the Skins will be looking at, and their draft board could have another player not mentioned at the top. But another option exists for Allen; with so much talent still on the board, perhaps the Skins trade down, accumulate more picks and still and one of the guys on this list.

So what will happen? Vote in our poll below if the Skins go offense, defense or trade down, and let us know who you think they will take in the comments!
