It's impossible to forget last season when projecting the NFC East standings for 2014. The Redskins suffered through an abysmal 3-13 campaign, and despite a change in coaching staff, Las Vegas appears to just look at the record. Information released Monday revealed the Skins have the worst odds to win the division, ranking behind all three of their foes.

Considering how everything played out last season, the odds seem reasonable. Philadelphia played some of its best football in years with new coach Chip Kelly installing a new offense and neww quarterback Nick Foles excelling in the system. Dallas marched to a .500 record, falling just short of the playoffs in the season's final game; a scene that seems to be on repeat for Cowboys' fans in the past decade.

The Giants got out to an awful start, plagued by injuries and turnovers. But even New York seemed to right the ship somewhat late last season, and considering the success of coach Tom Coughlin and QB Eli Manning, it's tough to count out Big Blue.

But what about Washington? New coach in Jay Gruden, healthy quarterback in Robert Griffin III. Have most people forgotten that this team went 10-6 and won the division in 2012? Or, more accurately, is the rest of the league dismissive of that title run? Remember it took a rather miraculous seven-game win streak to close the season for the Skins to take the NFC East.

And what does any of the recent past mean for 2014? Can the Eagles repeat without star deep threat DeSean Jackson? What does Jackson's arrival in Washington mean? WIll New York regain the ability to run the football? Can Dallas finally get over the 8-8 hump?
