Truck Plunges 20 Feet Onto Road

A driver and his passenger are recovering after a truck tumbled over a bridge and fell onto a road in Camp Springs, Prince George's County on Saturday.

State Police say the driver of an Ashley Furniture truck was heading south on an overpass on Branch Avenue when he lost control, went through a barricade and plunged at least 20 feet onto Allentown Road, leading to a fuel spill.

The driver and a passenger were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries. They are both expected to survive. No one was walking near the overpass at the time of the accident.

Allentown Road was closed for hours as Maryland State Police investigated and crews cleaned up the fuel.

A man, who called himself "Mr. Thomas," and works for the trucking company that works with Ashley Furniture spoke to NBC Washington.

"This is tragic," he said. "It's sad. But everybody's okay."

"Mr. Thomas" says he doesn't believe fatigue played a role in the crash because the driver always comes to the job early and leaves early. The Maryland State Highway Administration also inspected the bridge where the accident occurred and did not find any structural damage. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

Show up in the Washington Wizards locker room after games and there's a good chance John Wall puts on a fashion show. The All-Star point guard often sports different and creative looks. For his latest public appearance, Wall went for the presdential look.

Wall was a guest at Saturday's White House Coorespondent dinner. The annual black tie affair brings celebrity and politics together in the nation's capitol. Wall, a guest of USA Today's, took his mother, Frances.

As for the celebrity sightings, we know Wall had at least one. Whether it shows up on a certain reality show is unclear.
