Whether for specifically for Halloween or not, the local colleges have been playing dress up lately. Some in real life, some in the world of animation.

Since today is Halloween, we'll start with a music video specifically geared toward the costumed day - and because the George Washington athletic department program used the always awesome JibJab.com to help produce the video in which cartoon-y versions of those from the basketball program singing Gloria Gaynor's, "I will survive."

Personalize funny videos and birthday eCards at JibJab!

From the men's basketball team, coach Mike Lonergan leads off as Dracula and that's starting forward Isaiah Armwood in the role of a broomstick riding witch. From the women's team, coach Jonathan Tsipis goes werewolf and point guard Danni Jackson stars as a mummy. And of course, the George Washington mascot masterfully slips into the Frankenstein garb, green face and all. Quality work here and I personally can't get enough of nice guy Lonergan as a signing Prince of Darkness. But hey, that's me.

* This next video isn't Halloween related but rather from Georgetown's recent Midnight Madness party at McDonugh Arena. I've been meaning to post this since, it's guard Jabril Trawick dunking - while wearing the school's over-sized Jack the Bulldog mascot head (video via Georgetown men's basketball SID Mex Carey)

Better than I could do while wearing a huge mascot head, or at all.
