Until today I never connected George Washington with Tony Soprano. Now I do.

The latest viral video out of the Foggy Bottom program's athletic department focused on GW men's basketball team for this week's Atlantic 10 Tournament. The catch? Mimicking the opening sequence for the fabled HBO show, "The Sopranos."

Same theme, same feel, but rather than Tony Soprano driving through the streets of Jersey, the Colonials version has the view from inside a car making its way to Brooklyn, specifically to the Barclays Center.

Rather than the names of actors and actresses, names of players, managers and coaches pop up on screen during the excursion, starting with seniors Isaiah Armwood, Maurice Creek and Nemanja Mikic. The conclusion shows the mystery driver, though at this point you're probably deduced who's behind the wheel.

Entering the tournament as the No. 3 seed, GW faces either Massachusetts or Rhode Island in the quarterfinals on Friday.
