Georgetown released its entire men's basketball regular season schedule on Thursday. The details:

* The Hoyas have a challenging non-conference slate of away games, including the season opener against Oregon in South Korea, the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, at Kansas and versus Michigan State at Madison Square Garden. Actually, this much we knew already.

*Georgetown opens its first season in the retooled Big East conference against DePaul on December 31 and caps the run of home-and-home matchups at Villanova on March 8. From an RPI perspective, so far, so good. At least it better be because...

*Outside of those Big East home games, well, let's just say the slate of contests at the Verizon Center lacks for star power. Following their return from South Korea, the Hoyas home opener is against Wright State on November 13. The Horizon League program won 23 games last season, the most of the six non-conference foes playing at Georgetown this season, a group that includes Colgate, High Point, Elon, Lipscomb and Florida International, which won 18 games playing out of Conference-USA last season. Elon (Southern) finished 21-12 last season while Lipscomb, an Atlantic Sun program, went 2-0 against Florida Gulf Coast.

*After opening Big East play with two home games, Georgetown hits the road for a season-high three game (in eight days) road swing.

*Including the finale at Villanova, four of the Hoyas' final six games are on the road.
