FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) Bryon Allen hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with just over a minute remaining, then sank two free throws to seal George Mason's 63-59 victory over Virginia on Friday.

Allen's 3-pointer just beat the shot block buzzer and gave the Patriots a 60-57 advantage with 1:02 remaining. The junior's foul shots with 2.1 seconds left ended the Cavaliers' 14-game winning streak in season openers and gave George Mason its first win in the series in eight tries.

The Patriots escaped with the victory despite missing 10 of 17 foul shots in the second half. Virginia knocked down seven 3-pointers, but George Mason used full-court defensive pressure and forced the Cavaliers' depleted backcourt into several key turnovers down the stretch.

Sherrod Wright paced the Patriots with 15 points, while Allen added 13 and Johnny Williams had 11.

Joe Harris scored 19 points to lead Virginia.

Donald Trump to attend Army-Navy game at M&T Bank Stadium

President-elect Donald Trump plans to attend Saturday's Army-Navy game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.

Soon to be Commander-In-Chief of all branches of the military, Trump will split his time between the two sidelines, as is customary.

Past presidents have attended the longstanding rivalry game, including President Barack Obama in 2011.

According to ESPN, Navy has beaten Army the last three times presidents have been in the audience. Then again, Navy has won the last 14 consecutive contests anyway.

Navy unveils crisp, classic uniforms for Army-Navy Game

On Saturday, Dec. 10, Army and Navy take the field at M&T Bank Stadium in the 117th annual Army-Navy Game, the most prestigious rivalry in college football.

Unlike most other rivalries, which are built on hatred and blind fandom, the Army-Navy Game is one built on competition, sportsmanship and respect.

On Monday afternoon, the Army football program unveiled the World War II-inspired uniforms the Black Knights will wear on Saturday afternoon.

On Tuesday, Navy unveiled its uniforms, and before the game even begins, we have to give the slight edge to Navy in the uniform department.

The Midshipman have won 14 consecutive games against their rivals and hold a 60-49-7 lead in all-time meetings.

The 2016 Army-Navy Game kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 3:00 PM ET on CBS.
