A look at the Wizards Summer League roster
F: Otto Porter
The Wizards will get their first look at their No. 3 draft pick Otto Porter. The Big East Player of the Year averaged 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds a game last season at Georgetown.
F: Chris Singleton
Chris Singleton was taken by the Wizards with the 18th pick in the 2011 draft. In his two seasons, he has averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in just over 19 minutes per game.
F: Jan Vesely
The 6'11" forward, Jan Vesely, was the 6th pick in the 2011 draft. So far, Vesely has not panned out to be the player the Wizards have hoped for only averaging 3.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15 minutes per game.
G: Glen Rice, Jr.
The Wizards acquired Glen Rice Jr. from the Philadelphia 76ers via trade on draft night. The 6'6" guard led his D-League team to the championship and was the Finals MVP.
G: Sundiata Gaines
Sundiata Gaines played three years in the league and is most known for his game-winning shot as a member of the Utah Jazz in 2010. Gaines spent last season in China with the Fujian Sturgeons.
F: Maurice Sutton
Former Villanova Wildcat Maurice Sutton will get a chance to show scouts what he can do. The 6'11" forward averaged 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds a game his senior season as a Wildcat.
F: Devin Booker
Devin Booker went undrafted on draft night but will get his chance on the Wizards summer league roster. The Clemson forward averaged 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds a game his senior year.
F: Frank Hassell
The 6'8" forward Frank Hassell spent last season playing in Israel. The former Old Dominion standout won Most Outstanding Player in the CAA Tournament in 2011.
G: Marquez Haynes
Guard Marquez Haynes played two seasons with Boston College then transferred for his last two seasons with Texas-Arlington. The 26-year-old played in Germany last season.
F: Dennis Horner
Former NC State Wolfpack Dennis Horner had a brief stint with the New Jersey Nets in 2011. The 6'9" forward played last season with the Springfield Armor in the D-League and was named to the All NBA D-League Second Team averaging 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
G: Lorne Jackson
Guard Lorne Jackson averaged 13.4 points a game and shot 41.4 percent last season as a senior at Pepperdine. Jackson missed the entire 2011-2012 season with a knee injury.
G: Andrew Lawrence
England native Andrew Lawrence played his college career at College of Charleston. The 6'1" point guard averaged 13.5 points and 3.7 assists a game his senior year.
G: Ryan Thompson
Former Rider University guard and brother of Sacramento Kings forward Jason Thompson, Ryan Thompson spent last season playing in Belgium. He has also had a few stops in the D-League and Italy. Thompson is the only player in Rider history to finish top 10 in career points, assists and rebounds.
