Caps ride fast start to easy win

The Caps came out swinging Tuesday night, scoring four goals on the Florida Panthers in the first nine minutes of the game.

John Erskine got the party started:


Wojtek Wolski picked up where he left off Tuesday night adding the Caps' second goal:


Florida goalie Jacob Markstrom was pulled after the second goal and replaced by Scott Clemmensen.  John Carlson welcomed him to the game by scoring the Caps' third of the night: 


Alex Ovechkin found Mike Ribeiro wide open in the middle and it looked like the rout may be on at Verizon Center:


The Caps kept rolling in the second.  After a blind-side hit to Jason Chimera gave the Caps a 5 minute power play, Ovechkin rocketed one past Clemmensen for his teammate:


Fehr tallied the Caps' second power play goal of the night in the third period as the Caps just kept rolling:


Perrault added one final goal for good measure and the Caps cruised to a 7-1 win over Florida:
