NASHVILLE—Redskins safety Phillip Thomas suffered a mid-foot sprain in the first quarter of Thursday’s 22-21victory over the Titans.

Thomas was injured while tackling Shonn Greene. The rookie suffered a shoulder stinger on impact, then fell awkwardly on his left foot. He left the locker room wearing a walking boot. The shoulder is not a concern, he said.

With the Redskins scheduled to be off Friday, the next update on Phillips' status might not come until Saturday.

Linebacker Jeremy Kimbrough suffered separated shoulder, according to Coach Mike Shanahan. Kimbrough was injured late in the fourth quarter while reaching to make a tackle and was in considerable pain as trainers tended to him.

Wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth, meantime, aggravated the hamstring injury that has dogged him for much of training camp. Stallworth said the injury would be evaluated again Friday but maintained that he doesn’t believe it’s serious.
