Redskins long snapper Nick Sundberg was fined $7,875 for an illegal hit in Sunday’s game, a league spokesman said.

On a second quarter punt, Sundberg was flagged for holding. Then he was assessed an unnecessary roughness foul for shoving M.D. Jennings to the ground after the play.

Sundberg’s penalty brings the Redskins’ fine total from last week’s game at Lambeau Field to $59,875.

Brandon Meriweather was fined $42,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit and Will Montgomery was docked $10,000.

Green Bay linebacker Robert Francois, meantime, was fined $10,000 for a late, helmet-to-helmet hit on Redskins kick returner Chris Thompson in the third quarter, the spokesman said.
