Sports and celebrity have long crossed paths, and it appears that intersection is now hitting the college ranks. On Saturday night, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III reached out to hip hop star Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) in an effort to recruit his football-playing son to his alma mater Baylor University.
Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus, is a four-star recruit from Southern California. He plays receiver and is being recruited by some of the biggest names in college football: Notre Dame, LSU, UCLA and USC.
With RG3's help, maybe Broudus will land at Baylor.
