Dr. James Andrews watches RG3 practice
Earlier this week it became clear that most expect Robert Griffin III to start the regular season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 9. The opinion of one man, Dr. James Andrews, appears to be one of the few that could change that.
Before the Redskins preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrews monitored RG3 during pre-game warm-ups. The two would later meet and talk.
No word from Andrews is expected until after the game, and likely just Redskins coach Mike Shanahan will discuss the doctor's medical advice.
CSN Washington's Tarik El-Bashir reports that Griffin looked happy following his talk with Andrews.
RG3 was all smiles as he came off the field following warmup. Told Shanahan will address all questions after the game. #RedskinsTalk— Tarik El-Bashir (@TarikCSN) August 29, 2013
