RG3 on preseason: 'You still approach it like a game'
RICHMOND—We might get to see Robert Griffin III do full team work at the Bon Secours training center here after all.
According to a report in the Washington Post, the Redskins’ quarterback could take 11 on 11 snaps during Tuesday’s practice. The story said that it was unclear how significant Griffin’s 11 on 11 workload would be.
Last week, Mike Shanahan spoke of having a new part of a plan for Griffin’s recovery and preparation after the Tennessee preseason game last Thursday. The quarterback, who had his right knee surgically reconstructed last January 9, has been doing virtually everything in practice except for the full-team 11 on 11 drills.
As has been the case with all of the phases of Griffin’s rehab, any advance in his workload is contingent on there being no setbacks. Both Griffin and Shanahan have said recently that there have been no issues with the rehab.
Griffin will talk to the media on after the morning practice on Monday and Shanahan will talk following the afternoon session.
