While it appeared likely that Washington Redskins' QB, Robert Griffin III would indeed play versus the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL Insider, Adam Schefter, tweeted Saturday,

"In the final anticipated step, Redskins doctors cleared QB Robert Griffin III to start Sunday’s game vs. Eagles, via league sources."

Griffin suffered a sprained right LCL versus the Ravens which caused him to be rested in week 14 as the Redskins faced the Cleveland Browns. Coach Mike Shanahan said Thursday that if Griffin III played, he would play with a knee brace, which could limit his mobility.
