With the Redskins’ 2013 season winding down, will be keeping an eye on the upcoming college bowl games and the NFL prospects who could be on Washington’s radar in the 2014 draft.

What: Chick-Fil-A Bowl

Who: Duke (10-3) vs. Texas A&M (8-4)

When: Tonight, 8 p.m. (ESPN)

Players to watch: Texas A&M features several potential first round picks—OT Jake Matthews, QB Johnny Manziel, WR Mike Evans and OT Cedric Ogbuehi.

The Redskins, of course, don’t have a first round pick. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be watching, just in case one of them (particularly Ogbuehi, a right tackle) slips to the second round.

Duke, however, has a player the Redskins could target: CB Ross Cockrell. With DeAngelo Hall, Josh Wilson and E.J. Biggers all due to become unrestricted free agents, the Redskins will likely need to restock the cupboards.

Cockrell (6-0, 190) has 12 career interceptions (three this season) and has accepted an invitation to play in the East West Shrine Game. Cockrell vs. 6-foot-5 Mike Evans should be a fun matchup to watch.
