Reed Doughty, Stephen Bowen, Leonard Hankerson and Chris Neild are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Denver, Coach Mike Shanahan said after practice on Friday.
Doughty, who sustained a concussion in last week’s game, did not practice Friday, a day after being limited in practice. Shanahan said Doughty did not suffer a setback, however.
“He just didn’t practice today,” Shanahan said. “He’s going to get tested tomorrow, as well, and see how he’s doing. The whole week he hasn’t been perfect. That’s why we gave him some time off.”
Shanahan added that if Doughty passes his test on Saturday’s it’s possible be could suit up Sunday.
If Doughty can’t go, though, that would leave the Redskins without both of their starting safeties as they prepared to face Peyton Manning and the league’s most prolific passing offense. Brandon Meriweather will be serving his one game suspension Sunday.
Bowen, meantime, has a PCL tear in his right knee, while Hankerson and Neild are nursing foot and calf injuries, respectively.
