Tackle Tyler Polumbus returned to practice on Friday but was limited in his participation and will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia, Coach Mike Shanahan.
Polumbus, who suffered a concussion Sunday against the Browns, was limited in practice Wednesday, then was withheld from Thursday’s session as the team opted to rest him.
“We’ll see how he is tomorrow,” Shanahan said. “You have to be cleared every day. You have to look at it very carefully. That’s why we have him as questionable.”
If Polumbus is unable to play, Shanahan may turn to second-year utility lineman Maurice Hurt or rookie Tom Compton. Neither has played a down in the NFL at tackle.
Also listed as questionable was defensive end Stephen Bowen, who has been hampered by a biceps tendon tear. He was limited in practice Friday and sounded less certain about playing than he did 24 hours earlier, saying, “We’ll see.”
Meantime, center Will Montgomery (knee) practiced fully and is probable to suit up.
“I feel good now,” Montgomery said. “I’m just thankful. Looking forward to the game.”
