Your Monday morning open thread:

Even though they didn’t play, the Redskins had a pretty good Sunday.

Not only did they have the day off to relax, recover and regroup, they got some help from Peyton Manning and the Broncos, who beat Tony Romo and the Cowboys, 51-48, at Jerry World in one of the wackiest/most entertaining games in recent memory.

The Redskins could have benefitted from the winless Giants beating the scuffling Eagles at home, too. But even after Michael Vick left with a hamstring injury, the other, more turnover prone Manning brother wasn’t able to make that happen.

Still, the weekend’s events left the Redskins within spitting distance of the division lead – with the Cowboys up next on the schedule. As it stands now, Dallas and Philly are both 2-3 and the Redskins are 1-3. Never mind the 0-5 Giants; they’re done.

So, here’s today’s conversation starter: After this weekend’s games, are you more or less confident that the Redskins will be able to rally and defend their NFC East crown? And who worries you most, the Cowboys or Eagles?
