Your Wednesday morning open thread:

The Redskins didn’t look great against the Eagles. And it doesn’t get any easier Sunday against the high-powered Packers at Lambeau Field, where they haven’t won since 1988.

What matchup concerns you most about the Green Bay game?

  • Aaron Rodgers and Co. vs. the Redskins’ secondary? Rodgers passed for 333 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s 34-28 loss to the 49ers and both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb had over 100 yards receiving. The Redskins, meantime, didn’t have safety Brandon Meriweather on Monday and it's unclear if he’ll suit up this week.
  • The Redskins' ground game vs. the Packers’ defense? Green Bay limited Frank Gore to 44 yards on 21 carries (2.1 average). Alfred Morris, meantime, is attempting to bounce back from a two-fumble, 45-yard effort against the Eagles.
  • Clay Matthews vs. Robert Griffin III? Matthews sacked Colin Kaepernick once and got two hits on the 49ers’ quarterback. On Sunday, Matthews targeted Kaepernick, even drawing a personal foul after a clothesline tackle out of bounds that set off skirmish. Griffin, of course, is working his way back from injury and absorbed three sacks last week.
