In the fall of 2012, few would debate the hierarchy of Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. RG3 was in the middle of a historic rookie campaign that would end with his winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Wilson was succeeding but his statistics were minimal; the Seahawks won on the strentgh of their run game and defense. Kaepernick did not even start for the 49ers until late November.
Now, Griffin is an afterthought in the debate. Kaepernick took San Francisco to the Super Bowl last season, and has the Niners on the door step this year. Either Wilson or Kaepernick will play in the Super Bowl this year, while RG3 must wait until this fall to get back on the field.

Wilson and Kaepernick have taken their game to an elite level. Neither puts up the stats did Griffin did at his peak in 2012, but both quarterbacks consistently put their teams in position to win. The question now for Redskins fans, can a healthy RG3 get back to the same level as Wilson or Kaepernick?
RG3 will have to deal with a new coach and new offensive system this season, while the other two QBs will continue with their successful squads, perhaps one of them as Super Bowl Champs. Will Griffin be able to get the Redskins to that level? Let us know what you think in the comments.
