Is the addition of DeSean Jackson to the Redskins a done deal?

According to two reports from radio stations, it is. Some NFL insiders are saying not so fast.

Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington and Tim McManus of 97.5 The Fanatic on Philadelphia reported overnight that a contract between the free agent wide receiver is either a done deal or very close to it.

But Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network and Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports both said that while Jacksons visit with the Redskins has gone well, there is no agreement yet.

Jackson arrived at Dulles airport yesterday afternoon and was reported headed to have dinner with Jay Gruden and other Redskins coaches. It has been reported that there has been strong mutual interest between the former Eagle and Washington since soon after Jackson was released on Friday so it would not be surprising to see a deal come together in a hurry.
