Grade vs. Browns: B+

Comment: Kai Forbath stayed perfect on field goals, connecting from 44 yards out in the second quarter. The first-year kicker improved to 15 of 15 and now needs one more to tie Garrett Hartley’s record for consecutive field goals to start an NFL career.

Of Forbath’s seven kickoffs, four reached the end zone, but all of them were returned. The Lorenzo Alexander-led coverage units, however, neutralized one of the game’s most dangerous returners, D.C. native Josh Cribbs.

Cribbs was limited to 15 yards on two punt returns. He did, however, rack up 191 yards on kickoffs. But his longest was a 32 yarder to the Browns’ 32, and the ensuing drive end without Cleveland scoring.

Last week’s hero, Richard Crawford returned one punt for 13 yards in the first quarter but was indecisive on the other, a 5-yarder in the second quarter.

Off-returner Evan Royster, meantime, returned one kickoff for 22 yards in the fourth quarter. The Browns' other three kickoffs were touchbacks.
