In a surprise move, Pro Football Talk announced that the Washington Redskins agreed to a one-year deal with free agent receiver Santana Moss.
The Redskins have re-signed WR Santana Moss. One year deal.— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) March 11, 2014
It was widely believed that the Redskins would cut ties with the 14-year veteran out of Miami. Moss has played with the Skins since 2004, and been part of some truly memorable wins for Washington. Reports show that the Redskins have added former Cardinals reciever Andre Roberts in addition to the new deal for Moss.
I’m told Redskins also will keep Santana Moss on the roster. They’ve agreed on deal. So Moss stays — and they’ll add Andre Roberts to corps.— Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) March 11, 2014
Expect much more on the Moss deal as news emerges, including contract details.
