The 'Redskins Kickoff' crew gives Chick Hernandez play-by-play advice
Buffalo Bills running back C. J. Spiller was helped off the field with an apparent knee injury after scoring a touchdown in the first quarter of the Bills’ game with the Redskins.
In the press box, it was announced that Spiller’s injury was not serious.
Spiller scored on a two-yard blast up the middle. He didn’t appear to be hit in a way that would cause a knee injury but when he landed in the end zone he started clutching his right knee.
He started to walk back towards the bench but he quickly went to the ground. The trainers came out and Spiller left the field under his own power.
UPDATE 24 August 2013, 5:32 p.m.
Spiller has re-entered the game for the Bills.
