The Capitals, along with the rest of the NHL, remain scattered far and wide as no progress is made in negotiations between owners and players. Now in month four of the lockout, fans wonder if they'll see their teams at all this season.
"My wish? How about that NHL owners and players stop for a moment to think about the folks who line their pockets - the fans - and come together to settle their remaining disputes and get the puck dropped to start the season. Yeah, I know - it's easier to believe in Santa Claus at this point." -J.P., JapersRink.com
"More than anything, Caps fans would like peace on earth and good will toward men named Gary Bettman and Don Fehr. And while Santa's at it, maybe he can drop off a nice, warm Snuggie for Roman Hamrlik to share with Troy Brouwer." -Chuck Gormley, CSNwashington.com
