The folks at Foxsports.com have ranked all 45 Super Bowls, grading them for overall quality of play, competitiveness and historical significance.

The highest ranking of any game involving the Redskins was the 1972 season's championship, when the Dolphins completed an unbeaten season with a 14-7 victory. The historical aspect of the game helped place it at No. 14.

Similarly, the history-making performance of Doug Williams in the Redskins' rout of the Broncos in the 1987 season championship put this game at No. 17.

The No. 1 game? Just four years ago, when the Giants spoiled the Patriots' bid for an undefeated season.
