So two out of the Wizards' last three wins have been against lowly Charlotte, but a win at the NBA level is a win and, most importantly in this case, a road victory for the Wizards who have had a mental block when it comes to winning away.

The Wizards are 2-1 under new coach Randy Wittman (4-16 overall) after a 102-99 win at Charlotte Saturday night.

The Wizards also picked up their first road win of the season, after starting 0-8.

"We didn't want to go through with what we did last year," Wizards guard John Wall said, referring to the 0-25 start on the road last season. "We got it out of the way."

Wall was one of six Wizards to score in double figures against the Bobcats, led by center JaVale McGee's 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wizards are back home Monday night for a much stiffer challenge in Chicago.
