Here is what well be talking about around Redskins Park this week:--Trent Williams knee, Josh Wilsons hammyAnother week, another injury report watch. Both Williams MCL and Wilsons hamstring have grade one strains, which is the least severe. That doesnt mean that the two players arent dealing with a lot of pain and there is a chance that one or both will miss Sundays game in Seattle. Well monitor the practice status of both players throughout the week. The status of LaRon Landry, who missed last Sunday's game with a return of his Achilles issues also will be watched closely.--Offense finally scores, defense strugglesThe Redskins scored 24 points against the Cowboys and that is not exactly an offensive explosion in the NFL. But if the Redskins had managed to post that many points in every game this year they would be 8-2. They gave up 27, however, the second most scored against them in a game this year. It wasnt all on the defense as Dallas had a short field to work with on a few occasions but the defense had issues on third down. The Cowboys converted eight of 17 including several key plays. Well talk to Jim Haslett and the players about what went wrong.--No running gameIt would be great if this could go away as being part of the talking points every week but it just wont. While the Redskins werent running into a brick wall play after play against Dallas as they have been some weeks, 24 carries for 60 yards (2.5 yardscarry) isnt going to get improving the run game off of the to do list. The last running back to score a touchdown for the Redskins was Ryan Torain on Oct. 2. While there may not be much new to ask, well continue to try to see if there is any explanation for the problems.
