After missing the last ten games because of a right shoulder sprain, Wizards forward Andray Blatche will return against the Miami Heat Wednesday night.
"I am not 100 percent but I am able to play," Blatche said at Wednesday morning's shoot around. "We got a lot of guys injured and I am one of the healthiest ones so I can pretty much come and have an impact on the game."
Blatche is averaging 15.9 points and 7.9 rebounds for Washington this season.
But with the addition of Blatche comes the subtraction of forward Trevor Booker, who may be done for the season, with what coach Flip Saunders called, "a crack on the bottom of his foot." Saunders said the team will get a second opinion Wednesday night, but he thinks Booker is likely done for the year. Booker hurt his right foot last Friday at Denver and has not played since.
Wizards leading scorer Nick Young, who missed the Wizards 100-95 win at Utah on Monday night, is questionable for the Miami game with a sore knee. Forwards Rashard Lewis and Josh Howard continue to nurse sore knees and will not play against Miami.
The Heat come to D.C., fresh off an embarrassing loss at Cleveland 102-90 on Tuesday night.
"At least our players know they are not invincible because they lost to Cleveland," Saunders said. "With the Heat, you got make shots," Saunders said. "You can't turn it into a half court game."
