When the Ravens face the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, they will stare across the line of scrimmage at old friend Jarret Johnson, who played nine seasons with the Ravens before departing to San Diego via free agency this past offseason.

Johnson said on Wednesday that when he takes the field on Sunday, “ It’s going to be a little like training camp,” squaring off against players such as Ray Rice and Vonta Leach and Ed Dickson, just as he used to do in August drills in Westminster or at the Ravens facility.

Other Chargers might have similar feelings. In fact, including Johnson, the Chargers feature a half-dozen former Ravens.

Here are familiar faces the Ravens could see on Sunday in San Diego:

LB Antwan Barnes (with Raves 2007-09): The former fourth-round draft pick of the Ravens is in his third season with the Chargers. As a backup linebacker he has four tackles, one sack, three quarterback pressures and two fumble recoveries this season. He had perhaps the best game of his career last season against the Ravens, with four sacks in the Chargers’ 34-14 win. Barnes finished last season with a career-high 11 sacks.

CB Chris Carr (with Ravens from 2009-11):   Cut by the Ravens this past offseason, Carr was with the Vikings in training camp, then was released and signed with the Chargers in October. He is listed as the backup at right cornerback on the Chargers depth chart and has played in three games thus far but has not recorded any tackles.

DT Aubrayo Franklin (with Ravens 2003-06): The veteran down lineman is in his first season with the Chargers and 10th overall. After leaving the Ravens, Franklin played four seasons with the 49ers and spent 2011 with the Saints before joining the Chargers in July. He has started eight games for the Chargers this season and has 18 tackles (15 solo, three assists), but missed last week’s game with a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday.

OL Jared Gaither (with Ravens 2007-10): Cut by the Chiefs last season, Gaither seemingly resurrected his career in San Diego. He filled in after injuries on the offensive line last season, and the former Maryland Terrapin parlayed that into a new four-year contract with the Chargers. But he’s been bothered by a groin injury and has played in just four of the Chargers’ first 10 games this season.

OLB Jarret Johnson (with Ravens 2003-11): Johnson was one of the big free agency losses this past offseason for the Ravens, as he left after nine seasons in Baltimore. “It’s been super having him, and he’s played well for us,” Chargers coach Norv Turner said. Johnson has started nine of the Chargers’ 10 games and has 27 tackles (14 solo, 13 assist) and a sack. Johnson also has recorded three quarterback pressures and a forced fumble. He did not start last Sunday at Denver, snapping a streak of 89 straight starts dating to 2007.

FB Le’Ron McClain (with Ravens 2007-10): The former Ravens Pro Bowl fullback is in his first season with the Chargers after playing for the Chiefs in 2011. The Chargers primary blocking back has 11 carries for 38 yards this season and has five receptions for 13 yards.
