The status of defensive end Pernell McPhee for Sunday's game vs. the Oakland Raiders isn't certain, and he wouldn't declare that he definitely would play.
McPhee, who missed last week's 25-15 victory at the Cleveland Browns with a thigh injury, has only a half sack after posting six sacks in 2011.
"That's coach decision right now," McPhee said when asked about the possibility of playing Oakland before practice Wednesday.
The Ravens' maligned run defense held Cleveland running back Trent Richardson to 29 yards rushing in the second half after he put up 76 in the first half.
That marked a significant improvement for the Ravens' run defense. It had allowed an average of 207 yards rushing in the previous three games. The Browns were kept out of the end zone, too.
Arthur Jones replaced McPhee in the starting lineup, but he was moved inside as well.
"We played very solid. We played real good on defense," said McPhee, who accompanied the team to Cleveland. "We built walls on almost every play."
