The Wizards are now in their second week of working prospects on the Verizon Center practice court, a scenario that will continue leading up to the June 27 NBA Draft. Wednesday's headliner is Duke forward Mason Plumlee, an unlikely target with the third overall pick, but perhaps an option should Washington trade down into the late lottery or middle of the first round. The high-end prospects should start rolling in later this week including UNLV forward Anthony Bennett, Georgetown's leading scorer Otto Porter Jr and Kentucky center Nerlens Noel.

We have started a running tally of those that have already had their day in front of the Wizards decision makers along with links to CSNwashington stories about the prospects. Check back for updates and of course more draft coverage as we report, debate and ponder what the Wizards might at No. 3 or with their two second-round picks.

*Of the players that have made a trip to Chinatown, potential second-rounder and 3-point shooter James Southerland might be the most interesting option for the Wizards, especially if Martell Webster does not return. The 6-foot-8 forward out of Syracuse is a bit one-dimensional, but that dimension is draining shots from beyond the arc. We saw Danny Green and Gary Neal, both under-the-radar players coming out of college, sink 3-pointer after 3-pointer in Game 3 of the NBA Finals for the Spurs. Perhaps Southerland could serve such a supporting, spread-the-floor role for the Wizards?. Peyton Siva and DeShaun Thomas could also be options in round two, but which of these players intrigue you most? State your take in the comments section below...
