The Wizards grew even thinner with the loss of Martell Webster, who didn't play in Monday's game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies because of a sore back.

Webster has had two back surgeries before coming to Washington and last season had an issue with an abdominal strain that required surgery last summer. He was signed for four years at $22 million as a free agent, with the final year of the deal not being fully guaranteed.

Chris Singleton was the first player off the bench to relieve Bradley Beal. Previously, Singleton had be coming in for Trevor Booker at power forward.

The Wizards (31-28) already are without Kevin Seraphin (right knee), who missed his fourth game Monday, and Nene (left knee) who won't be ready until the final week of the regular season.

Nene was at Verizon Center on crutches.
