Wizards get ready to head to Brazil for preseason

BACK TO ACTION: After four days off, the Wizards will try to re-focus and put on a better showing in their second preseason game at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro

TV: Saturday, NBATV, 5 ET

Last game: Lost 111-106 in overtime to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday at Verizon Center.

Projected starting lineups: Wizards –- PG John Wall, SG Bradley Beal, SF Trevor Ariza, PF Jan Vesely, C Nene. Bulls –- PG Derrick Rose, SG Jimmy Butler, SF Luol Deng, PF Carlos Boozer, C Nazr Mohammed.

What to look for: 1). Wall vs. Rose. It doesn't get any better than that. 2). Will Nene get his wish and play reduced minutes? 3). Can free agents Eric Maynor and Al Harrington, who weren't effective in the preseason opener, play better? 4). Will surprising training camp invitee Josh Childress get on the floor and if so will he play well enough to entice the Wizards to keep him? 5). Will coach Randy Wittman get his wish and see better ball security from his team that had 23 turnovers and only 15 assists? 6). Will Vesely take more chances offensively?

X-factor: Reserve PF Trevor Booker (sore right knee) missed the opener but said there's a good chance he'll play.

He said it: "I'm old school. I tried to tell these guys we used to go through two-a-days for the month of October before they had all these CBA rules. I still view camp as the month of October." -- Wittman

Around the bend: The Wizards will return immediately after the game, have Sunday off and likely practice at Verizon Center on Monday. They play the Miami Heat here on Tuesday at 7.
