Webster serenades camera with Christmas tunes

John Wall's All Star voting rank among Eastern Conference guards remains the same: fourth place, behind Dwayne Wade, Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose.

The gap, however between the Wizards point guard and those currently projected into one of two starting slots for the 2014 All Star game has grown.

Wall received 210,988 votes, the NBA announced, compared to 524,000 for Irving. For those not doing the math, the Cavs floor leader outpaces Wall by over 313,000 votes.

The previous voting update on Dec. 12 had Wall trailing Irving by around 240,000 votes.

For comparison, stats for Wall and Irving:

Wall: 19.6 points, 9.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds

Irving: 21.5 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds

There are other numbers to consider for those looking to make a decision beyond say popularity. Among them, the Wizards are 12-13, the Cavs 10-17.

Here is the entire top 10:

1) Dwyane Wade: 565,455
2) Kyrie Irving: 524,000
3) Derrick Rose: 299,950
4) John Wall: 210,988
5) Ray Allen: 143,714
6) Rajon Rondo: 111,355
7) Deron Williams: 74,047
8) George Hill: 66,030
9) Lance Stephenson: 50,444
10) DeMar DeRozan: 48,744

As a reminder, this is about the starting lineup, not making the roster. Wall can still be part of the squad if selected by a vote among coaches and league executives. The injured Rose is a non-factor. Same with Rondo. Based on the other names ranked, not sure how Wall doesn't make the roster assuming he continues playing at his current high level. DeRozan is scoring lots and one of the Pacers could make the game. Otherwise, shrugs.

Balloting closes Jan. 20 and the starters will be announced three days later on TNT at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be played in New Orleans on Feb. 16.
