Everything finally is official: As CSN Washington reported earlier in the day, Wizards point guard John Wall is in the dunk contest for All-Star Weekend, but he will not participate in the skills competition. Bradley Beal is in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, something he confirmed after practice Thursday, and will play for Grant Hill's team in the rookie-sophomore game.

Paul George (Indiana Pacers), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors), Ben McLemore (Sacramento Kings) and defending champion Terrence Ross (Toronto Raptors) are Wall's competition in the Sprite Slam Dunk.

Like Wall, George and Lillard also are playing in the Feb. 16 All-Star Game which will take place in New Orleans. It is the first time since 1988 that three All-Stars are competing in the dunk contest, too.

The dunk, three-point and skills competitions will take place Saturday, the night before the main event.

Beal will face last year's champ, Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest as well as Stephen Curry (Warriors), Joe Johnson (Brooklyn Nets), Arron Afflalo (Orlando Magic), Marco Belinelli (San Antonio Spurs), Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Lillard.

The Taco Bell Skills Challenge, for which Wall declined an invite, will feature four teams of two players each: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) and DeMar DeRozan (Raptors), Michael Carter-Williams (Philadelphia 76ers) and Victor Oladipo (Magic), Lillard and Trey Burke (Utah Jazz) and Goran Dragic (Phoenix Suns) and Reggie Jackson (Thunder).

The BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge will be played Friday, with Beal being selected by Hill. His teammates: Lillard, Barnes, Dion Waiters (Cavaliers), Terrence Jones (Houston Rockets), Pero Antic (Atlanta Hawks), Antetokounmpo, Jonas Valanciunas (Raptors). They'll be coached by lead assistant Nate McMillan (Pacers).

They'll be facing Chris Webber's team: Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Kelly Olynyk (Boston Celtics), Jared Sullinger (Celtics), Mason Plumlee (Nets), Tim Hardaway (New York Knicks), Steven Adams (Oklahoma City Thunder), Oladipo, Carter-Williams and Burke. They'll be coached by lead assistant Rex Kalamian (Thunder).

All of the events will be broadcast live on TNT.
