Trevor Ariza is on track to play for vs. the Charlotte Bobcats after practicing Tuesday as he tries to fully recover from the flu.
Ariza has played with the illness in the last two games, holding Carmelo Anthony to 10 points in a win at the New York Knicks but appearing drained in a blowout loss at home to the Chicago Bulls over the weekend.
The Wizards (40-37) practiced Monday but Ariza was given off. He wasn't a full participant Tuesday but did do some drills.
He's expected to be in the starting lineup Wednesday in what John Wall is calling the most important game of the season.
Coupled with the return of Nene after he missed 21 games with a knee injury, the Wizards should be near full-strength for the first time in more than two months.
