Otto Porter makes NBA debut for Wizards

Otto Porter looked very much like a rookie who is getting his first action of the season for the Wizards against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Porter was called for traveling on his first possession as he faced up and picked up his pivot foot before dribbling. Shortly after that, he lobbed an airball on his first attempt as he was challenged on a 20-foot jump shot by Giannis Antetokounmp.

Porter started the second quarter. He wasn't expected to log many minutes, but entered the game after Martell Webster went down with a sprained left ankle to end the first quarter.

Webster took a runner as he tried to beat the buzzer but came down writhing in pain. His return is doubtful.

The Wizards' top draft pick in June at No. 3 overall, Porter strained his right hip flexor Sept. 13 and didn't have his first full-contact practice until last week.

Porter has practiced three consecutive days this week.
