Let's start with this: John Wall will play against Orlando, the point guard's second straight appearance since missing the opening 33 games.

His reunion with fellow third-year guard Jordan Crawford remains on hold. The Wizards leading scorer will miss his third straight game with a sore left ankle and is day-to-day, according to coach Randy Wittman. Joining Crawford on the bench, Trevor Booker (sprained left ankle) and Cartier Martin (hyperextended left knee), who is also out for a third straight game.

Crawford also missed the Wizards' Dec. 29 game at Chicago with the same ankle injury, one that's stuck around in part because Washington's depleted roster forced some to play through nagging injuries. With Wall, Trevor Ariza and A.J. Price back, Wittman said he can afford to let Crawford rest and hopefully heel. Crawford will make the team's five-game/nine-days road trip, according to Wittman, which starts Wednesday at Sacramento.
