Chalk the posting of this speculation to there not being much happening this weekend in the way of Wizards stuff. Granted, on some basic level I understand the potential fit, but Andray Blatche to the Miami Heat? While the NBA champs are improved with the addition of Ray Allen, their big man situation once you get past Chris Bosh remains frightful. Blatche's talent has never been in question and his mid-range game plus 6-foot-11 size would benefit the Heat. As for everything else that comes with the frustrating forward, that remains the issue and one I don't suspect Pat Riley can simply overlook... The backup point guard market is shrinking. Very early in the free agent process John Lucas III seemed like a viable target for the Wizards, but there has been enough chatter to suggest Derrick Rose's former backup would receiver more than the NBA minimum. Trevor Booker's cousin resigns with the Lakers. Good move for the Kobe's. Kind of was hoping the Wizards might get a crack at E'Twaun Moore as a potential combo guard option once the Rockets release him. Instead, sounds like the Bulls have the inside track. Seeing as he tallied 35 pointsagainst the Wizards, guess it should not be surprising Josh Selby leads the Las Vegas Summer League in scoring. Also, it's hardly stunning a certain pass-firstpoint guard,2012 first-round pick andformer Bishop O'Connell star leads the way in assists.
