Paul VI wins WCAC championship for lone senior

Washington, D.C., Baltimore and the entire region has long been known to produce some of the best basketball talent in the world. For decades, coaches have scoped the area's playgournds and schools for players that would go on to win championships on every level.

That is no different in today's game, where stars from the DMV play at the highest college levels as well as the NBA. It's the plethora of players from the DMV that creates one of the best debates: Who would be the starting five of current great players from this area?

Two names are obvious: Seat Pleasant's Kevin Durant and Baltimore's Carmelo Anthony. That much is clear.

Beyond Durant and 'Melo, plenty of local players make their living in the NBA. So who shoul make the CSN Top 5? Big man Roy Hibbert? The athletic Rudy Gay? What about dynamic rookie Victor Oladipo? Do-it-all forward Jeff Green? Plenty of point guards to pick from too: Ty Lawson, Kendall Marshall, and Jarrett Jack among others.
