Bradley Beal relives his game-winning shot

The last time these teams met, John Wall had the slightly better end of it vs. Deron Williams, who shot just 5-for-14. The Nets have become a threat again, despite their record, ever since getting him back from ankle injury.

TV: CSN, 7:30 p.m. ET at Barclays Center. Radio: 106.7 FM. 1500 AM.

Last game: Wizards (10-13) beat the New York Knicks 102-101 at Madison Square Garden on Monday, ending a four-game losing streak; Nets (9-15) won at home vs. the Philadelphia 76ers 130-94 on Monday.

Last meeting: Wizards beat the Nets 112-108 OT at Verizon Center on Nov. 8.

Projected starting lineups: Wizards –- PG John Wall, SG Bradley Beal, SF Trevor Ariza, PF Nene, C Marcin Gortat. Nets –- PG Deron Williams, SG Joe Johnson, SF Alan Anderson, PF Mirza Teletovic, C Kevin Garnett.

Entry passes: 1). Beal played 30 minutes in his first game in almost a month and may be scaled back even if he starts 2). Gortat still hasn't figured out how to play without Nene but he won't have to deal with C Brook Lopez (ankle). 3). Ariza or Martell Webster will be the other shooter to spread the floor with Beal. 4). Wall has 26 turnovers in his last five games, including a season-high tying seven vs. the Knicks. 5). Johnson made 10 three-pointers in his last game.

X-factors: Coach Randy Wittman believes there's a chance he could have PF Nene (sore right foot) back in the lineup. ... Garrett Temple and Jan Vesely only scored four points but were solid defensively vs. the Knicks as both played 16 minutes each. ... It appears that Wittman has tightened his rotation which means Otto Porter might not get much playing time unless there's room for garbage time.

He said it: “We felt like we gave away three of the last four games we played. It was great to have Brad back. Hopefully, we get Nene back soon but that is no excuse for losing these close games." -- Wall

Around the bend: The Wizards practiced Tuesday morning, will shoot around Wednesday and later will play at the Brooklyn Nets (CSN, 7:30).
