#WizardsTalk: Will Wall return?

Jordan Crawford has taken on the role as the go-to guy on offense -- see his 22-point performance in the Wizards’ Saturday loss to Golden State -- but he's also the go-to guy in a pinch at point guard. With A.J. Price out for at least 4-6 weeks with a broken hand, John Wall out indefinitely with a sore knee, Shaun Livingston remains the only true point guard on the roster. Now the Wizards will turn to the 6'-4" Crawford to direct the team when needed.

"I thought he did a good job, playing as many minutes as he had to play under circumstances that he hasn't done yet," Wizards coach Randy Wittman said about Crawford playing point versus the Warriors. Crawford has a shoot-first mentality, but he dished out 8 assists versus Golden State.

"Coach has been putting Jordan in at point in certain situations in games before," Wizards forward Chris Singleton said. "It wasn't new. Jordan stepped up."

The Wizards might sign a free-agent point guard or they could stick with Crawford and Livingston as the primary options at point. Regardless of what they do, it's good to know they can turn to Crawford and he will likely deliver as a ball handler.

The 2-15 Wizards visit 5-14 New Orleans Tuesday night.
